Yes, I took the time to read your explanation about your choice in making this short animation. The thing that bothered me was the fact that you entitle yourself independent. I assume you don't vote, and though each choice for the logical winner is never very good, you should still vote before you complain. I don't see how those quotes are negative for one thing. Americans are trapped in a bubble, and forcefed the idea that we are untouchable, so when something drastic does happen, (or the government does something tragic and drastic as well as what would be defined as evil and inhuman and blames it on someone else), the american people freak out. I respected your series until this, because it changed my view on what this series really was. What I originally took it as, was a series bashing pop icons with their own human actions and stupidity. Bashing the people we've built up to be idols or some form of inspiration, when in truth they're nothing but idiots spoonfed every luxury, and given an image to live by that executives make popular to the american people by forcing us to eat out of the media trough, and giving us nothing more. The media has spun out of control, and for you to consider F9-11 pure propaghanda is absurd. Moore's films have evolved from simply opinionated twisting of quotes with just him and a camera, to less and less of him in the shots. Because, it is a simply a list of facts. It was made to educate the american people who so willingly trust in our leaders. The president is not the leader, he is the icon, he is the image of government. It is so relevant to the wizard of oz in the sense of the quote "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" They will distract you with false issues and completely distorted facts. They will lie to you and steal from you and murder you, and you will just be another fucking moron, an animal, a customer, a number, a virus they control and let breed out of logical limits by using our instincts against us as weapons. Sex, Music, Food, Attire, pleasure of any kind will be concentrated and fired back at you through yourt television and radio and billboards through subliminal tactics. Forbading sexuality while driving it down your throat at the same time. Same with violence, or food. Any bit of happiness is focused on an used as marketing tools. You stupid rednecks who just gobble up violence and pray to your god you get the chance to defend yourself and destroy a human life, wasting your life away on a computer, on a video game, on a television. You could attack that statement with a nihilistic approach, saying "well nothing matters" Your fucking cartoons, your video games, your media should but doesent matter. The media is simply a trough full of shit and swill made specially for you, the american consumer, ready and willing to send over troops to rape and murder the innocent. The kill, to brainwash, to convert. You are a damned fool if I ever heard of one. You probably would never get involved to injure your society, your country the killing machine. Society is a good idea that has been corrupted by excess and ignorance. This country is a land of people trapped inside a robotic pleasure. The closer I see us getting to dystopia, to an orwellian country, the more I feel motivated to do my part it informing people that this is just a mirage, the real world lies under the concrete, behind the static and frequencies.
